Champagne for breakfast?

Champagne for breakfast!  Well, not quite (we are YWAMers after all!).  But every morning at the inTouch camp during August 2008 at YWAM Le Gault le Forêt began with a sparkle.  Our hearts soared to the Lord in awe inspiring worship, far more heady and satisfying than even the finest wines of the Champagne region in which we were staying.  Vintage speakers, Jeff and Romkje Fountain, leaders of YWAM Europe, filled us with hope, joy and expectancy as they shared the big picture of God’s vision for His world.
Later in the day as we wandered among medieval towns or along winding vine filled roads, many of us shared how God was working in our lives.  It was a time of rich and deep fellowship; a time of hearing from God with an incredible sense of togetherness.
inTouch camps bring together former YWAMers, those currently serving in YWAM, their supporters, families and sending churches- in fact anyone who has YWAM blood in their veins!  It’s an exciting multi-generational mix with families, singles, teens, seniors – and no one feels left out.
The warm summer afternoons were spent relaxing and in the evenings Roy and Shirley Jones, leaders of inTouch Europe, provided with others on the team a cornucopia of interesting events, from a missions night to a wonderfully creative worship experience, from line dancing to a testimony evening not forgetting a relaxing barbecue evening outside in the grounds of YWAM Le Gault.
Want to join us next summer?  Reserve the 8th – 14th August at Le Gault in your diary.  Our speaker, Daniel Schaerer founded YWAM France over 30 years ago and he’ll be sharing incredible faith stories from that era as well as practical teaching to help us walk each day in faith in 2010.  More details (including photos of the 2009 Le Gault camp) can be found at www.intouchcamps.net   See you there!
